    Day 1

    Feel the winter night with whole body

    An exciting encounter with powdery snow! From hotpot inside a kamakura to a cozy winter bonfire, the very first day opens both body and heart to the magic of snow.

    Afternoon: Arrival at the airport and hotel check-in. Evening welcome with hotpot and bonfire in the snowy fields, followed by stargazing.

    Learning and Tasting Nature & Food

    A day not only to eat and enjoy, but to discover the nature and people behind food production. Gratitude for food deepens through shared family conversations.

    Morning: Visit local primary industry workers (ex. farmers,  fishermen), observing their daily work and learning about Hokkaido’s food and industries. Cooking experience, shared meals, and exchange time. Workshop on appreciating the value of life through food.
    Afternoon: Snowshoe walk across Hokkaido’s endless white landscape.

    Trip Highlight: Horizon Photography on the Snowfield

    Capture a once-in-a-lifetime family photo against the vast snow-covered horizon. Immersed in the grand scale of nature, children can truly feel both their own smallness and the greatness of the world.

    Morning: Exclusive family photo session on the snowy horizon, with explanations about the natural landscape and geology.
    Afternoon: Warm up at a winter camp while enjoying fresh seafood. Play with snowmobiling freely in the vast snow field.

    Express Yourself through Pottery for Concluding the Journey

    You will need time to reflect on the trip and expressing the emotions you felt or the lessons learned from nature through your handmade work. Your work will later be fired and delivered to your home along with a video of the firing process.

    Morning: Pottery-making experience, shaping freely with imagination.
    Afternoon: Visit a winter farm, enjoy local lunch, then transfer to the airport for departure.
